Elio Amador (he/they) is queer, trans Chicane theatre artist based in the Bay Area.
They received their Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts from California State University, Bakersfield. They will soon be returning to Oakland Theater Project as ASM after assistant stage managing for Cabaret last year. They have also been an assistant stage manager and stage manager for recent Crowded Fire projects.
He’s been seen as an actor at Center Repertory Theatre, Theatre Rhinoceros, Play Cafe, SF Shakes, NCTC YouthAware, and more. He completed actor training at American Conservatory Theater’s San Francisco Semester program.
They have also directed for Theatre Rhinoceros, Chanticleers Theatre, and for Playground SF’s Monday Night Playground after completing a directing internship there.
